Wow! Jiannas first year of life went by super fast! I know they always say it does, but this one truly did!! Maybe because Adam missed her first 4 months of life. Or maybe because since she's my last baby I wanted her to stay teeny tiny forever! She did everything fast! I think because she has two big sisters to look up to. She sat up early. She crawled early. She walked early. She even started to eat solid food early!!! What the heck Jianna! Stop it already! Well here are some pics from her first year of life...

Heart of the City tour
Adam and I went to see Mary J. Blidge and Jay-Z the 15th of April. Adam bought six tickets with the intention of slanging the other 4. lol We wound up selling 2 to Ms Ali and the other 2, to two guys at my work. We had the privilege to seeing Mary before at the Pepsi Smash and was really impressed with her then so we knew she was going to put on an amazing show. Adam was excited about seeing Jigga Man! lol We met Ms Ali and her "son" David there and went to Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. Big thanks to Ben and Brandy for watching the girls for us. I have to write that I am a really mean cousin lol. My cousin Steph LOVES Mary and I was rubbing in her face that I was there. =) Here are some pics from that.
BTW the first pic wasn't from my camera...(I wish we were that close)

The Beach
On our last day in CA we were sitting around at my Moms wondering what to do. Santa Anita Park was having a carnival so we were thinking about going there so the kids could play and see the horses. We were thiking about doing nothing and just hanging around the house and do nothing. We realized it was pretty warm that day too. he sun was out shining brightly then Bam! It hit us! We should go to the beach. So that's what we did! Adam and I ran to Wal-mart for the three mandatory S's swim suits, snacks, and sunblock! lol It was a BEAUTIFUL day and we saw dolpins, lots of them actually! We also saw a lot of lady bugs too! Kinda weird. They were in the sand, they seemed to like crawling on Jianna. It was also Jiannas first beach trip and she enjoyed it. She also liked eating the sand. The water was FREEZING! But that didnt stop any of us, especially my sister Acacia. Homegirl was acting like the water was at 80 degrees! Here are some of my favorite pics from that day.
Feeding the ducks
While we were in CA I decided it would be good idea to go feed some ducks. I remember my Mom taking me there when I was little and I could honestly say it is one of the worse childhood memories I have! Why? Because the H U G E mutant duck goose or whatever it was had chased me down like a maniac when I ran out of bread! Thank God that my girls didnt have to go through that. We went to Almansor park, just us 5 and had a really good time. It was funny cuz I remember the lake being huge and there being a illion ducks and so on. Then when we got there the lake was more like a little pond. It's really weird how when you get bigger things get smaller. Anyways here are some pics from that

Playing catch up...
As always I am finding less and less time to update our blog...but all is going well. Busy but well none the least.
Jianna will be the big 1 this month!! The 25th to be exact. Looking forward to celebrating her first year of life.
Isabella went to her school yesterday for her vision test and she really wasnt into it so much. She is also going Friday for her evaluation.
Hailey got her acceptance letter from Carden for the first grade and I am absolutely devastated about sending her to school. She'll be starting in August.
Adam is still doing interviews, ride alongs, written and physical tests, back round checks, polygraphs... but no official job offers...yet ;)
Im still at the Roadhouse doing my thing.
I have tons of pics to post from our duck feeding adventure to the beach to the concert Adam and I just went to. So be checking back soon.
